About Singapore Sports Medicine Centre

Singapore Sports Medicine Centre (SSMC) is a comprehensive one-stop centre for injury management, injury prevention, pre-participation screening, exercise testing, exercise prescription, performance enhancement and multi-disciplinary weight management. SSMC is an alliance between the Singapore Medical Group and Changi General Hospital's Changi Sports Medicine Centre (CSMC). CSMC caters to recreational as well as competitive athletes from a wide range of sports, athletes with disabilities, performing arts, and military personnel. It also manages clinical populations (eg. those with medical conditions) in relation to exercise. Both centres are led by Dr Ben Tan and comprise fully qualified Sports Physicians, Sports Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Physiotherapists, Sports Trainers, Sports Massage Therapists, Dietitians, and Podiatrists.
